Srisailam Temple Board Approves Dasara Plans and Pilgrim Facilities
The Srisailam temple board met to plan the upcoming Dasara festival.
It approved 18 of the 20 items discussed.
The celebrations will start on October 11.
A special religious ceremony called Sahasra Chandi Sahita Maharudra Homam will be held for the first time during Dasara.
Cultural shows, television broadcasts and decorative lights are also planned.
The board set aside Rs.
3.20 crore to improve another temple.
Pilgrims will not have to pay to use toilets inside the temple area.
The temple will also repair a dormitory, use artificial intelligence with its cameras and manage a petrol bunk directly.

Dasara festivities will begin on October 11, with cultural programmes, live telecasts and illumination works planned.
A Sahasra Chandi Sahita Maharudra Homam will be held during Dasara for the first time.
The board allocated Rs. 3.20 crore for development works at Kolanubharathi Saraswathi Ammavari temple.
To improve pilgrim services, toilet user charges will be removed, dormitory repairs funded and CCTV linked with artificial intelligence systems.
