West Bengal CM says Minister Under Scan in JeM Probe
Suvendu Adhikari, the chief minister of West Bengal, said that a minister named Umesh Rai was also being looked at in a police investigation.
The police arrested a man named Hamid Mondal in Bardhaman, who they think is connected to a terrorist group called Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Adhikari said the police are still checking the evidence and will talk to the press later.
He also said the investigation should not be used for politics and that keeping the country safe is the most important thing.

The investigation is still in early stages, with electronic devices seized from Mondal awaiting analysis.
Adhikari urged that the probe not be politicised and that national security take precedence over politics.
