Himachal Pradesh is changing some government schools to follow the CBSE curriculum.

The state has opened 147 such schools so far.

It currently has 3,830 teachers working in them.

The government is choosing 820 more teachers based on merit.

Officials say this recruitment should be finished by September 30.

The schools will also get computer labs, costing Rs 80 crore in total.

The government says enrollment has increased by 24,000 students since the CBSE schools opened.

It plans to open 100 more schools to improve education and help students prepare for national exams.
