The leader of Telangana, Mr. Revanth Reddy, took a helicopter ride to a special temple town called Medaram.

The town is known for two goddesses named Sammakka and Sarlamma.

Tribal priests and drum players welcomed him warmly.

He went inside the temple and said prayers to the two goddesses.

He gave beautiful saris and flower garlands as gifts to the goddesses.

Then he planted a small tree and told people to take care of nature.

He also started a new plan to give money every month to widows and single women.

He handed out cheques for 2,016 rupees to some of them.

He opened a new water plant so people visiting the temple can get clean water.

When he was done, he took a photo with local women's groups and left for another town called Mulugu.
