Telangana High Court Issues Contempt Notice in HPS Case
HC Contempt Notice to Education Secretary in HPS Case · deccanchronicle.com

The Telangana High Court is examining complaints about the Hyderabad Public School Society.

The complaints concern how the Society manages money, admissions, jobs, contracts, construction, and land.

Durgam Ravinder brought the matter to court.

He also said that nearly 100 acres of government land at the Begumpet school is not listed in the Society’s records.

The court had earlier told the Education Department to study his complaint and make a decision within three months.

Ravinder’s lawyer said the education secretary did not respond or act within that time.

Because of this, a two-judge court bench issued a contempt notice to the secretary.

The notice asks the secretary to address the alleged failure to follow the court’s earlier directions.
