Ex-HCL CEO Vineet Nayar: Real AI risk is human self-doubt

Vineet Nayar used to be the boss of a big technology company called HCL Technologies.

He worked with computers for forty years.

He also spent ten years helping children in villages in India learn.

Now he has written a book called 'Humans First, Machines Second.'

Some people worry that very smart computers, called AI, will become smarter than people.

Mr. Nayar is not so worried about that.

He is worried that people might stop believing in themselves.

He thinks people do amazing things when they believe they can.

He says technology helps, but people are the ones who make big breakthroughs.

That is why he thinks we should invest in people's confidence, especially in young people.
