Hyderabad Walkathon Urges Youth to Reject Substance Abuse

Young people took part in a walk in Hyderabad to learn about the harms of drugs and other substance abuse.

The walk was organised by MY Bharat, Telangana, together with the National Service Scheme.

It started at Charminar and finished at Government City College.

Rajya Sabha member K. Laxman flagged it off.

He urged young people to stay away from drugs.

He said substance abuse can hurt people and affect their families and communities.

MY Bharat State Director Anvesh Chinthala encouraged healthy habits.

Narcotics Control Bureau Assistant Director Vishal V. R. said young people can help prevent substance abuse by making responsible choices.

The event ended with the National Anthem.
