Jeedikal Temple Brahmotsavams to Be Held on Grand Scale
A large religious festival will be held at the Jeedikal temple in November.
The festival takes place during the Karthika month.
Officials expect more visitors than in earlier years.
Kadiyam Srihari asked departments to prepare the temple and surrounding area.
They will work on water, toilets, roads, electricity and cleanliness.
A medical camp and ambulance will help visitors who need care.
More police and surveillance will be used for safety.
Later, Srihari and the Collector gave financial-aid cheques to 31 people.

MLA and former Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari reviewed festival preparations with District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha and officials.
Officials were told to improve drinking water, sanitation, electricity, roads, lighting, greenery and toilet facilities.
A three-kilometre road between Aleru and Jeedikal, a park near the Kalyana Mandapam and other infrastructure projects were also discussed.
A medical camp, ambulance, medicines, additional police deployment and surveillance are planned; relief cheques worth Rs 13.61 lakh were later distributed to 31 beneficiaries.
