The United States has started a campaign called “Operation Economic Outcast” against Iran.

The campaign is designed to reduce Iran’s access to money.

The United States also sanctioned more than 60 people, organizations and ships.

Washington says some of them help Iran earn oil money or obtain military and cyber technology.

Iran has responded by blacklisting 45 tankers.

It says the tankers broke its rules for traveling through the Strait of Hormuz.

Officials from Pakistan and Oman are in Tehran as regional talks continue.
