Delhi Police runs an effort called Operation Milap to find missing people.

This year, police reunited 1,149 people with their families in southwest Delhi.

The group included 296 children.

In August, police found 159 people, including 27 children and 132 adults.

Officers studied CCTV video and asked people in local areas for help.

They also showed photographs at transport places and checked hospitals and police stations.

Some people had been missing for several years.

Police said one person was missing since 2019, another since 2022, and four had been reported missing in 2025.
