On India's birthday, the country's leader, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, gave a big speech.

He shared exciting news about electric cars and scooters.

In 2009-10, only 1.5 lakh electric vehicles were sold in India, where a lakh means one hundred thousand.

By 2025-26, Indians bought 25 lakh electric vehicles, which is an enormous jump of about 16 times.

He also talked about the bioeconomy, which now earns Rs 20 lakh crore, much more than the Rs 60,000 crore it earned before 2014.

He mentioned that airplanes and airports are growing too, creating new jobs.

Modi said these improvements happened because of helpful policies and the energy of young people.

He believes new technologies are creating more chances for young Indians to work and learn.
