Dwadasha Kamalasana Maha Yagna Set for October 7–11
Gadala Sri Mahalakshmi Peetham will hold a special five-day spiritual ceremony.
The Dwadasha Kamalasana Sri Chakra Maha Yagna will begin on October 7 and end on October 11.
A large fire altar, called a homa kundam, is being built in the shape of a lotus.
It will have 12 petals and be 28 feet wide.
The organisers say the ceremony is meant to bring happiness and prosperity to devotees.
They also say it is intended to help people overcome astrological and planetary problems.
Different forms of Goddess Mahalakshmi will be worshipped during the event.
Devotees and spiritual seekers from nearby areas and beyond have been invited.
Gadala Sri Mahalakshmi Peetham will host the five-day yagna from October 7 to 11.

Peethadhipathi Dr Chinna Venkanna Babu Swamiji said the event would be unusually large in scale.
