Skoda-Volkswagen Plans Four New Cars for India by 2027
Skoda and Volkswagen are preparing four new cars for India.
One is an updated Skoda Slavia sedan.
Another is the returning Skoda Superb executive car.
Volkswagen is also updating its Virtus sedan.
The fourth model will be a small SUV launching in 2027.
The Slavia gets new lights, screens, cameras and an automatic gearbox.
The Superb will use a diesel engine and a special Laurin & Klement version.
Volkswagen has not yet confirmed all details of the Virtus update.
The new SUV will be built in India.
Skoda Auto Volkswagen India plans four launches: the Slavia facelift, Superb, Virtus facelift and a new compact SUV.
The updated Skoda Slavia adds refreshed styling, new technology and an eight-speed automatic for its 1.0-litre TSI engine.
The fourth-generation Skoda Superb will return with a 2.0-litre diesel engine, seven-speed DSG and standard Laurin & Klement trim.
Volkswagen is testing a Virtus facelift, with design changes expected while its engine lineup is likely to continue.
Volkswagen’s new sub-four-metre SUV will launch in India in 2027 and use the locally built MQB-A0-IN platform.
