Some Indian travelers can visit Uzbekistan without getting an Uzbek visa first.

They can stay for up to 30 days.

To qualify, they need a valid multiple-entry tourist or business visa from certain countries or the Schengen area.

These include the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, and South Korea.

They must also have a confirmed ticket to return home or continue to another country.

Indians who do not meet these rules still need to apply for an Uzbekistan visa.

Uzbekistan says the change is intended to encourage tourism, business, and cultural connections.
