Mazda Art Festival Highlights Artists, Instagram and Human Creativity
The Mazda Art Festival is showing artwork by more than 175 artists in Hyderabad.
Their 250 works are displayed at the State Gallery of Art.
Maadhvan Goyal became known to many customers by posting his paintings on Instagram.
Some customers now bring him pictures made by artificial intelligence and ask him to repaint them.
Goyal says he changes these images into paintings using his own style.
He believes people still value work made by a human artist.
Monis Ahmed, an 18-year-old artist with hearing, speech and mobility difficulties, sold a work at the festival.
The festival will also give awards and money to artists.

Artist Maadhvan Goyal says Instagram has brought him commissions and gallery invitations from India, Dubai and London.

Eighteen-year-old Monis Ahmed, who has hearing, speech and mobility difficulties, found a buyer at the festival.
The Mazda Art Foundation will distribute ₹5 lakh among 50 artists, including a ₹2.5 lakh first prize, on Sept. 13.
