The warning covers coastal stretches in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, and Alappuzha.
Waves of 1.1 to 1.5 metres are expected along the Kanyakumari coast.
Residents in vulnerable areas were advised to move to safer locations and watch for flooding and erosion.
Fishermen and the public were told to avoid sea activities, beaches, and launching or landing small vessels during the warning.
