US Envoys Meet Gaza Mediators in Cairo Amid Renewed Airstrikes
Trump Gaza peace plan: US envoys meet Egypt, Qatar and Turkey mediators in Cairo · CNBC TV 18

Two sides, Israel and a group called Hamas, have been fighting in a place called Gaza, and many people have been hurt.

President Trump of the United States made a plan to bring peace between them.

He sent two helpers, Jared Kushner and Nikolay Mladenov, to talk with leaders from Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey in the city of Cairo.

Leaders from Hamas also joined some of the meetings.

The plan says the fighting should stop, Hamas should give up its weapons, and Israeli soldiers should leave Gaza.

Then Gaza would be rebuilt with new leaders chosen by Palestinians.

But Israel's leader, Benjamin Netanyahu, said the plan is 'unacceptable.'

Even while peace talks were happening, Israeli airstrikes still wounded several people in Gaza.

Everyone hopes the meetings will help stop the fighting and bring peace.
