HRC Disputes Blame for Horse Deaths After Summer Transportation
A race club in Hyderabad warned against moving horses during the summer because it can be dangerous.
Sadly, eight horses died after being moved to another city by a company called HithaNet.
The race club said the horses likely died from lack of care and conditions.
The company said they only followed doctors' orders.
The local government investigated and found that the company lost 16 horses in two years.

The deaths occurred after horses were transported to Jabalpur by HithaNet India Pvt Ltd.
HRC officials said the deaths may be due to the poor condition of the horses during and after transportation, including lack of food and water, along with potential lack of post-travel treatment.
HithaNet representatives, while admitting to the deaths, said they followed the doctors' directions.
Local civic officials confirmed that 16 horses, owned by the company, died within two years.
