Two Killed As Sand Lorry Rams Car Near Pasra
Two people were driving in a car to visit a relative.
Suddenly, a big truck carrying sand crashed into their car.
The crash happened near a place called Kondaparthi, on a road in Mulugu district.
Sadly, both people in the car died right away because the crash was so serious.
The two people were Kalakotla Surekha and Chinta Vijayababu.
They both worked in the agriculture market department in Mahabubabad district.
The police registered a case against the truck driver.
They think the truck driver may have been driving too fast or carelessly.
The police are investigating what happened.
They said more details will be known after the investigation is finished.
Two persons died on the spot when a sand-laden lorry collided with their car near Kondaparthi on the Pasra–Tadvai road in Mulugu district on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Kalakotla Surekha (40) of Hanamkonda and Chinta Vijayababu (45) of Bhadradri Kothagudem district, both employees of the agriculture market department in Mahabubabad district.
The two were travelling from Hanamkonda to Eturnagaram via Pasra and Tadvai to meet a relative when the accident occurred at around 10.30 am.
Tadvai police registered a case against the lorry driver based on a complaint lodged by Surekha's sister, Kalakotla Harika.
Preliminary investigation suggests that rash and negligent driving and excessive speed by the lorry driver may have caused the accident.
