Bain Capital Acquires UK Vitamin Maker Vitabiotics

Bain Capital, a big investment company, has bought Vitabiotics, a well-known UK vitamin company.

Vitabiotics was started by Professor Kartar Lalvani in 1971 and has popular brands like Pregnacare and Wellwoman.

Bain Capital plans to help Vitabiotics grow in other countries and improve its digital and product development.

The company will still operate from the UK, and there won't be any immediate changes.

The founder will become Chairman Emeritus.

Bain Capital thinks there's a lot of room for growth in the vitamin and supplement market, especially in places like India and China.
