Kerala Police Rescue Missing 13-Year-Old Girl From Odisha
A 13-year-old girl went missing from Methala in Kerala.
Her parents told the police on August 13.
Police searched nearby places but could not find her.
Information from the cyber cell led them to Salem in Tamil Nadu.
They then learned that she might be staying in Ganjam district in Odisha.
Because the area was considered risky, police travelled there at night with armed officers.
They found the girl and brought her back to Kerala.
She will be given to her parents after a court appearance.
A special Kerala Police team rescued a missing 13-year-old girl from Nabagocha village in Odisha’s Ganjam district.
The girl’s parents reported her missing at Kuruppampady police station on August 13.
Cyber-cell information linked the girl to an Odisha native working at a company in Salem, Tamil Nadu.
Police travelled nearly 40 kilometres through a forested area at midnight to reach the house where she was staying.
The girl was taken to Kerala and is expected to be handed over to her parents after being produced before a magistrate.
