Half of the hospital’s beds are proposed to provide free treatment for economically weaker patients.
Around 51 acres have been identified for the project, which the state government says will be fast-tracked.
The Adani Group is also linked to projects involving Kumartuli Ghat, Writers’ Building and a proposed deep-sea port in West Bengal.
