Delhi Winter Plan Adds WFH, Vehicle and Construction Pollution Curbs
Delhi has made a plan to reduce dirty air during winter.
Some government and private office workers may work from home two days each week.

Delhi’s Winter Action Plan 2026-27 introduces stricter pollution controls across Delhi-NCR from October through January.
The No PUCC, No Fuel campaign will intensify at 500 ANPR-equipped petrol pumps from October 1.
From November 1, non-BS-VI petrol and diesel vehicles registered outside Delhi will be barred from entering, while CNG and electric vehicles are exempt.
Dust-generating demolition and outdoor construction will be prohibited from November 1 to January 31, with a complete construction ban from December 10 to January 20.
The plan promotes 50% work from home, higher parking fees, expanded public transport, road cleaning, industrial enforcement and AI-based monitoring.
