Andhra Credits Rs 14,664 Crore to Farmers Under Scheme

Andhra Pradesh gives money to farmers through a welfare program called Annadata Sukhibhava-PM Kisan.

The program provides Rs 20,000 each year to eligible farmers.

The state government contributed Rs 8,903 crore, and the central government contributed Rs 5,761 crore.

Together, more than Rs 14,500 crore was credited to farmers’ bank accounts.

The government also reported progress in building health-centre facilities.

It said 1,143 of 1,231 Primary Health Centres are in their own buildings.

Other ministers discussed benefits for Kapu communities and plans for new district offices.

The Assembly passed 12 bills and then ended its session.
