Tasmac Extends Bar and Waste Contracts During Tender Process

The contracts for those services were due to end on August 31.
Tasmac allowed the current contractors to continue until October 31.
This gives the corporation more time to choose new contractors through a tender process.
The contracts can end sooner if the new contractors start work earlier.
Waste collectors at Tasmac shops received a shorter extension until September 30.
The extensions are meant to prevent service and sanitation problems while the new contracts are completed.
