Bengaluru Woman Dies by Suicide After Alleged Harassment
Vanishree was a 22-year-old woman who worked in Bengaluru.
She lived in a paying guest accommodation in HSR Layout.
Police said she left a note accusing Abhishek of blackmailing and harassing her.
Her roommate told her sister Pooja about the note on August 22.
Pooja, the accommodation owner and police searched for Vanishree.
They later found her body in Agara Lake.
Pooja’s complaint alleged that Abhishek used calls, messages, photographs and videos to harass her.
Police registered a case, but they said the allegations are still being investigated.
Twenty-two-year-old Vanishree allegedly died by suicide after jumping into Bengaluru’s Agara Lake.
