The government said it wants public hospitals to provide high-quality healthcare free of charge.
Minister BC Janardhan Reddy and Nandyal MP Byreddy Shabari inaugurated an Integrated Public Health Laboratory at Banaganapalle Government Area Hospital.
The laboratory was established at a cost of Rs 1.25 crore.
Medical equipment worth Rs 1.57 crore was launched using Adani Foundation CSR funds.
The minister said the hospital is being upgraded to provide advanced diagnostic and clinical services locally.
The equipment grant followed the minister’s request for Rs 3 crore in CSR assistance from the Adani Group Foundation.
