Navi Mumbai Children Complete Girnar’s 10,000-Step Climb in Four Hours
Four children from Navi Mumbai climbed Girnar mountain in Gujarat.
They are between seven and 11 years old.
The mountain has more than 10,000 steps and is 3,666 feet high.
The children finished the climb in about four hours.
The path was steep and included difficult terrain and forested areas.
They kept going even when they were tired.
Their trip was organised to help children build confidence, fitness and determination.
They also visited several religious places during the five-day journey.
Four children from Diwale Koliwada, aged seven to 11, completed Girnar’s more than 10,000 steps in four hours.
Ayush Koli, Shri Koli, Griva Bose and Divisha Vishal Koli climbed the 3,666-foot mountain while chanting a devotional phrase.
The children endured steep terrain, physical exhaustion and forested stretches during the ascent.
Ekvira Mitra Mandal organised the five-day religious and adventure trip from Diwale Koliwada.
The group also visited Bet Dwarka, Dwarka, Someshwar, Gangeshwar and Nageshwar in Gujarat.
