Anahat Singh Felicitated in Delhi for Junior Squash World Title
Anahat Singh is an 18-year-old squash player from India.
She recently won the World Junior Championship, a big competition for young players.
The final was played in Canada, and she beat a player from Egypt.
No Indian had ever won this title before, so it is a very special moment.
She started out playing badminton but switched to squash when she was eight years old.
She worked very hard and lost many matches before winning this one.
The Prime Minister of India congratulated her on social media.
Her family, coaches, and sports officials gathered in Delhi to celebrate with her.
Now she wants to compete at the Asian Games and the Olympic Games.

Anahat Singh defeated Egypt's Ruqayya Salem 3-0 in the World Junior Championship final in Canada on 25 July, ending Egypt's 15-year hold on the girls' title.
Singh, 18, became India's first junior squash world champion on her fifth and final attempt at the tournament.
A felicitation ceremony was held at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi, attended by officials including SRFI president Anil Wadhwa.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi called the win 'a historic feat' on X, with PV Sindhu and Shikhar Dhawan among those who congratulated her.
Singh now targets the Asian Games next month in Japan and the Olympic debut of squash at Los Angeles 2028.
