Three Drivers Arrested in Veeramani POCSO Complicity Probe
Police in Chennai arrested three drivers who worked for industrialist R Veeramani.
They are accused of helping bring minor girls and assisting in offences against them.
Police searched their homes and took eight cellphones and 55 documents.
The investigation began after police received a pendrive said to contain a video of an offence involving a minor.
Veeramani and two people identified as Shanthi and Mahendra Simhan had already been arrested in connection with the case.
Another person, Ganesan, was arrested for allegedly not reporting a separate video to police.
A Special Investigation Team is investigating five cases.
Police say the investigation is still underway.
