Almatti Dam Engineer Dies of Cardiac Arrest

Sharanappa Chalavadi, an engineer who worked on the Almatti dam, passed away due to a heart attack.

He dedicated three decades to the Krishna Bhagya Jal Nigam Limited (KBJNL), including many years on the dam.

Chalavadi played a crucial role by providing technical information for legal cases about water disputes.

He was skilled in water storage and management, as well as flood control.

His work also involved supporting legal teams in court cases related to water distribution.

Chalavadi was also recognized with a state government award for his services.
