Gold Prices Fall Across Indian Cities on August 28
Gold became cheaper in many Indian cities on August 28, 2026.
The national reported price for 22-carat gold was ₹14,730 for one gram.

Chennai, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Visakhapatnam, Madurai, Thrissur and Vijayawada reported 24-carat gold at ₹15,383 per gram.
All listed city rates were reported lower than the previous day, with 24-carat declines of ₹304 or ₹305 per gram.
