Indian Gold Prices Rise as MCX and City Rates Advance

Gold prices in India went up in the reports.

On August 20, MCX gold rose by 0.3 percent.

On August 21, it rose another 0.5 percent and opened at Rs 1.60 lakh for 10 grams.

The reported price for very pure 24K gold was Rs 15,928 per gram.

The reported prices for 22K and 18K gold were Rs 14,601 and Rs 11,947 per gram.

Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata reported small increases in their city prices.

Silver cost Rs 2,55,100 per kilogram in all three cities.

International gold prices were changing because of shifting global conditions, and one city-rate report lists August 21 in its headline but says the prices were recorded on August 22.
