CREDAI urges better civic infrastructure on routes around Vizianagaram
CREDAI’s Andhra Pradesh vice-president K.S.C. Bose has asked the State government to improve civic services in and around Vizianagaram.
His request covers the routes connecting the city with Bhogapuram and Visakhapatnam.
Planned data centres and an aviation university are expected to drive development in the area, alongside other government and private projects.
Bose says roads, water supply, street lights, markets and parks are needed to support growth and avoid unplanned construction on the outskirts.
He has asked for more government funding, and the Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises said he would bring the request to the Chief Minister’s attention.
A seminar on civic infrastructure is planned for October 24 to 26 during Vizianagaram’s annual Home Expo, where views will be gathered for follow-up with the government.
