More than 50 designers and labels are expected, including 16 making their runway debuts.

Runway shows can be expensive: the Fashion Design Council of India estimates that an independent show can cost Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1 crore.
At Lakmé Fashion Week, the council and sponsors subsidise participation to Rs 4 lakh to Rs 8 lakh, depending on the format, making it more accessible to emerging designers.
