Madrid judge summons Quirón Prevención president in suspected commission case

A judge in Madrid has summoned Fernando Camino, president of Quirón Prevención, to appear as an investigated person on 3 December.

The case concerns Alberto González Amador, partner of Madrid regional president Isabel Díaz Ayuso, and a suspected payment to Camino.

Investigators are examining whether González Amador used the 2020 purchase of a company owned by Camino’s wife to pay a commission of nearly half a million euros.

He paid €499,836.92 for the company, which was later renamed Masterman.

A tax inspection report said the company appeared to lack the resources needed for consulting work it billed to Quirón Prevención.

The prosecutor’s theory is that the purchase may have concealed a commission, but this remains under investigation.

This case is separate from another case in which González Amador is awaiting a trial date over alleged tax fraud of about €350,000.
