NATO says it has no plans to blockade Kaliningrad
NATO says it is not planning to block access to Kaliningrad, a Russian region.
Its military committee chairman said reports of a planned blockade describe a scenario that does not exist.
He said NATO is not seeking a confrontation but is ready to respond if attacked.
The statement comes after Vladimir Putin warned that an attack on Kaliningrad or other Russian regions could lead Russia to consider using all available weapons.
