Jeju Air to launch Busan–Manila flights five times a week
Jeju Air will begin flying between Busan, South Korea, and Manila, the capital of the Philippines, on December 17.
The service is scheduled to run five times a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Flights will leave Gimhae International Airport in the evening and arrive in Manila after midnight; return flights will leave Manila early in the morning.
The new route will bring Jeju Air’s international services from Busan to 15.
The airline currently flies from Busan to destinations in Japan, Chinese-speaking regions, Southeast Asia and Mongolia.
Jeju Air carried about 1.29 million passengers on its international flights from Busan in the first three quarters of this year, up 13% from the same period last year.
The airline says it expects the new direct route to serve travel demand in both directions and plans to develop routes based on demand across South Korea.

We will improve consumer convenience and strengthen global competitiveness through route development and flexible operations that take travel demand in various parts of Korea, including Busan, into account.
