Brooklyn Museum Opens Large-Scale Exhibit on Manga Art

The Brooklyn Museum has opened an exhibit about manga, the Japanese art form behind many comics and animated series.

It includes exclusive works by creators of popular series such as One Piece, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Bleach.

The exhibit also traces artistic influences in Japan back hundreds of years.

It gives visitors a chance to see manga as part of a longer artistic tradition, not just as entertainment.
