Rotterdam reports two staff over suspected misuse of aid for tax-scam victims

Rotterdam gave financial help to people wrongly accused of benefits fraud.

Some staff who used a city payment card may have spent money on items for themselves or others.

The city has reported two employees and suspended five more while it investigates.

The amount involved is not yet known, and the city says it has tightened card controls.
