Supreme Court to hear challenge to Delhi metro station closures during protests
The Supreme Court is due to hear pleas on October 13 challenging the closure of several metro stations in Delhi.
The closures came amid protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and allegations of irregularities at the Election Commission of India.
Opposition leaders, activists and civil society members held a March for Democracy in the capital.
Rahul Gandhi and others have also petitioned the court over alleged large-scale voter deletions and changes during a Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls.
