Ignacio Meyer to leave Univision networks role on October 15

Meyer is leaving the job that oversees Univision’s U.S. television networks and local media.

The company says he has a new professional opportunity, but will continue as an adviser.

He is expected to keep working on the Latin Grammys and other entertainment projects.

The company has not said who will take over his role.
