More than 500 cyclists join Hyderabad arthritis awareness ride
Yashoda Hospitals organised a bicycle ride in Hyderabad to raise awareness about arthritis.
More than 500 people of different ages and backgrounds joined the ride from the hospital’s Secunderabad facility to Necklace Road.
It was held ahead of World Arthritis Day on October 12.
Arthritis can affect people of all ages, and the hospital’s director said it affects an estimated 195 million or more people in India.
Organisers said regular movement can help maintain joint function and encouraged people to seek medical care early.
The event also promoted healthy diets, exercise and routine health check-ups as ways to support joint health.
