Reigns vs. Knight to open WWE Money in the Bank
Roman Reigns and LA Knight will wrestle for the World Heavyweight Championship in the first match of the event.
WWE announced the match order on SmackDown.
The men’s Money in the Bank ladder match is also on the card, but the event’s main event has not been announced.
The opening slot may make a later same-night cash-in by the men’s ladder match winner less likely.
WWE announced on SmackDown that Roman Reigns will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight in the opening match of Money in the Bank 2026.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, with a 6 p.m. Eastern start time.
The event will air live on the ESPN app in the United States and on Netflix elsewhere.
