Two Audi cars stolen from garage in Rotkreuz

Two high-value Audi cars were stolen from a garage in Rotkreuz, in the canton of Zug, Switzerland, during the night before Friday.

The thieves also took car keys and garage license plates.

One of the cars was later found abandoned in Wangen an der Aare, in the canton of Bern.

The other car has not been reported found.

Authorities say similar thefts have been happening in Switzerland for months.

They advise garages to secure both their buildings and the cars inside, including by using immobilizers.

They also recommend limiting access to valuable cars and not leaving them with full fuel tanks.
