Matchbox: The Movie reaches No. 1 on Apple TV in the US

Matchbox: The Movie is an action comedy based on Mattel’s toy cars.

It reached the top spot among films on Apple TV in the United States, according to FlixPatrol.

It also ranked eighth worldwide on the service.

Its strong start could help it become a new car-action franchise as the main Fast & Furious series is set to end, though critics’ reviews have been negative.
