Japan rate decision may prompt yen carry trade funds to return

Investors have been borrowing cheap yen to buy overseas bonds and shares with higher returns.

Japanese investors have now sold French government bonds as bond yields rise around the world.

The Bank of Japan may raise its key interest rate again at the end of this month.

If it does, some money invested overseas could return to Japan.
