Friend says he warned teenager accused of helping hack the FBI

El Adeb says he warned Khader that hacking the FBI could bring serious consequences.

Khader is accused of helping with a breach claimed by the ShinyHunters group.

The FBI has told staff to assume the stolen data concerns all its employees, though Reuters has not verified the breach’s scope.

The case matters because the data could affect many people who work for the bureau.
