NFL teams make roster moves, including Bengals placing Swayze Bozeman on IR

Several NFL teams made roster changes on Monday.

The Buffalo Bills signed cornerback Anthony Kendall from their practice squad, released linebacker Mike Danna and elevated defensive lineman Phidarian Mathis and receiver Trent Sherfield.

The Cincinnati Bengals placed linebacker Swayze Bozeman on injured reserve with a broken forearm and claimed linebacker Jack Kiser from the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Bengals coach Zac Taylor said he does not think Bozeman’s injury will end his season, though his possible return will depend on the team’s needs and available injured-reserve activations.

The Cleveland Browns signed running back Audric Estime from the Minnesota Vikings’ practice squad, while the Houston Texans waived receiver Jared Wayne.

The Kansas City Chiefs placed receiver Tyquan Thornton on injured reserve and signed linebacker Cam Jones from their practice squad; the Tampa Bay Buccaneers opened receiver David Sills’ practice window after injured reserve.

Wayne could return to Houston’s practice squad if he clears waivers, and Sills can now practice during his window.
