XXXLutz expects deeper EU review of planned Porta takeover

XXXLutz wants to take over the Porta furniture chain, which has 26 furniture stores and 95 discount stores.

The European Commission is examining the deal and may open a deeper review.

It is also investigating whether XXXLutz influenced Porta before getting approval, which would be against the rules.

Kobler denies that allegation.
